      ～華やかでセクシーなコートロティ～ オジェ家は、コート・ロティの中心地アンピュイを拠点に、何世代にもわたりブドウ農家を営んできた。シャプティエやギガルなどネゴシアンにブドウを販売し生計を立てていたが、1983年に父ミッシェル・オジェがワインを醸造してドメーヌ元詰めを始めた。当時6歳だったステファンは父が行うワイン造りに魅了され将来ワイン醸造家になることをその時に決意する。15歳から5年間、ボーヌや南アフリカで修業を積んだステファンが1997年にドメーヌに加わり、親子二人三脚でワイン造りがスタートする。数年後には、コート・ロティのトップ生産者に数えられる注目すべき存在となる。 2007年以降、すべての栽培と醸造を息子ステファンが引き継ぎ、世代交代が行われた。華やかでセクシー、そしてしなやかな優美さを合わせ持つ新しいコート・ロティのスタイルを確立していく。ステファン曰く、『コート・ロティはパワフルなイメージがあるけど、畑はローヌ渓谷でも最北に位置する非常に傾斜のきつい丘陵地、本来はフィネスがありエレガントなワインが造られる。』その特徴をワインに表現しようと日々研鑽を積む。父とワインに対する考え方の大きな違いはないが、ブルゴーニュで行われている細かな畑の作業や区画（リューディ―）ごとに収穫、醸造することを取り入れることでより洗練されたワインへとステップアップしていった。現在、コート・ロティには、20区画を所有、それらの区画をさらに樹齢や土壌キャラクターの違いで66タンクに分けて醸造を行っている。また区画ごとに全房発酵か除梗するかを判断している。 ステファンの新しい試みとして父の時代では造っていなかった白ワインの生産を2004年から開始した。コートロティだけでなくコンドリューの評価も非常に高い。 元ワインアドヴォケイトのローヌ担当ジェブ・ダナック氏によるテイスティングノート ■Cote Rotie Reserve 2015 93点＋／熟成：2021～2036年 コートロティ　レゼルヴ２０１５年は素晴らしいワインだ。幸運にも２本、このワインを別々のボトルで試飲することができたが、毎回感動した。ドメーヌ最上のブドウを含む、自社所有全てのテロワールからのブドウを使用して造られるこのワインは深い紫色をしていて、ブラックベリーやスパイスを効かせた肉、お香などのうっとりする香りが感じられる。はっきりとしたミネラル感や乾いた土のキャラクターがグラスの中でどんどんと開いてくる。芳醇で良く熟したフルボディで、心地よい中程度の奥行きを感じ、余韻も素晴らしいこのワインは２～３年間瓶熟させる必要があり、その後１０～１５年熟成させることができる。

Unfurling in the glass with aromas of cassis and plums mingled with notions of cigar wrapper, sweet loamy soil and violets, it's full-bodied, velvety and layered, with superb concentration, lively acids and rich, powdery tannins. Perfumed and resonant, this is a profound young Pauillac that bears more of a resemblance to its neighbor Ch?teau Latour than to Pichon Lalande this year. Pichon Baron was one of the great deals of the en primeur campaign, and readers who purchased futures are to be congratulated on their foresight. The numbers speak for themselves: until 2000, Pichon-Longueville Baron produced some 350,000 bottles per year; since 2001, that figure has fallen to 160,000. Managing director Christian Seely's first decision on arriving at the property was to reduce production, focusing the grand vin on Cabernet Sauvignon growing on the deep gravel terraces opposite Ch?teau Latour that have always been the heart of this historic estate and which were the source of the great duo of 1989 and 1990 before being joined by other holdings after a series of acquisitions in the early 1990s. The results speak for themselves in the form of a series of excellent vintages, and things improved further with the construction of a new barrel cellar in 2006, permitting better temperature control and more precision during ?levage. In style, Pichon Baron these days has more in common stylistically with the depth and structure of Latour than it does with the perfumed sensuality of its sibling, Pichon Lalande; and in quality, it's clearly one of contemporary Bordeaux's greatest wines. It's hard to know whether 2010, 2016 or 2019 will emerge as the best Pichon Baron of the decade?and of Seely's tenure up to the time of writing?but what is certain is that the 2019 is a striking wine that any Bordeaux lover would want to have in their cellar. It will spend 18 months in a mix of new and used barrels. Classic Barton notes of cassis, scorched earth, burning embers, new leather, and violets emerge from the glass, and this beauty is full-bodied, massively concentrated, and structured on the palate, yet it has a beautiful elegance as well as a plushness in its texture. Nevertheless, it's not for those seeking instant gratification and is going to need 10-15 years of bottle age to hit maturity. It reminds me of the 1990 and is a great, great wine in the making. Today, Leoville Barton is decidedly virile, imposing and in need of cellaring. It is also hugely impressive. Leoville Barton is one of the first Bordeaux I tasted, many years ago. Full-bodied, velvety and polished, it's broad and enveloping, with an ample core of fruit, ripe tannins and succulent acids, concluding with a long, precise finish. Invariably the most sumptuous of the three Leovilles, featuring some 35% Merlot, the 2019 is a terrific effort that will offer a wide drinking window. With some 80 hectares under vine, Leoville Poyferre's parcels are inter-fingered with those belonging to the Delon and Barton families by the river and on the plateau of Saint-Julien. The soils are cultivated less frequently and less deeply these days, and conversion to organic methods is gradually being rolled out, parcel by parcel, some being easier to farm this way than others. Winemaking features a five- to eight-day cold soak, followed by comparatively long macerations, and maturation is in 80% new oak, with lots destined for new barrels completing their malolactic fermentation in barrel. Combined with an elevated percentage of Merlot in the vineyards (though the tendency here, as elsewhere, is to replant with more Cabernet Sauvignon), this delivers the richest, fleshiest, most flamboyant of the three Leoville estates, but while it's generally the most open out of the gates of the three, that hasn't come at the expense of longevity. There's ample concentration and sufficient tannins for the long haul, with a long, dusty finish and hints of licorice that bode well for the future.       ジョン・コングスガードの造るワインは、選び抜いたベストの区画から、極端なまでの低収量、天然酵母のみを使い、低温のセラーで長い時間をかけて醗酵を待つ。 ノン・フィルター、ノン・ファイニング。 今では当たり前のように言われるが最新鋭の化学設備で行うのではなく、ほぼ手作業。リスクの大きな造り方である。 眼鏡にかなう葡萄が出来なければそのワインを造らない。 満足の行くクオリティーでなければ年により生産量が極端に変わる。 自然によると言うよりも、ジョン・コングスガードのフィルターによりワインは造られていく。 その厳しさが多くの信望者を集める由縁である。 このキングス・ファームは毎年はリリースされず、良い年、豊作、ファーストビンテージのコングスガードがセレクトされたのち、リリースするに値するキュヴェがある場合にのみリリースされます。 生産量はコングスガード同様非常に限られています。 ナパヴァレーの南東部に当たるアトラス・ピークの標高が高く、涼しい火山性土壌の自社畑と契約畑からのブドウを使い、コングスガードと同じ醸造方法で造られます。 濃く凝縮しながらもシルクのようなきめ細かい口阿たらいを持ち、コングスガードらしいパワフルながら、決してダレることのない筋肉質でがっしりとした酒質です。

      シャトー・マルゴー、パルメに続く実力を誇る、マルゴーの格付け第2級シャトー。 「シャネル」が手掛ける、 気品と力強さを備えたスタイルが魅力。 マルゴーの2級格付けワインの中でも、近年において目を見張る品質の向上を遂げているシャトーが「ローザン・セグラ」です。1855年の格付け以来、大恐慌や1956年の大寒波などによってシャトーは大打撃を受け、2級格付けには値せず、と言われていた時期もありました。1980年代に入り、新たに経営に着手したジャック・テオ氏によるワイン蔵新設等の醸造改革が始まりました。 1994年にオートクチュールの「シャネル」に買収されてからはさらにクオリティが上昇。格付け第1級に一番近い実力、という評価を受けるようになりました。シャトーの畑は、細かい砂利が深く堆積した区画と石灰が混じった粘土質土壌からなり、区画の地質により密度を変えての栽培しています。 「シャトー・ローザン・セグラ」のブドウ収穫時期は、毎日栽培家が果実の成熟度やタンニン、酸をチェックし、慎重に収穫時期が決められ、2度の厳しい選果を通過した良質のブドウのみが使用されます。醸造は全て、品種毎、区画毎に行われ、熟練の醸造家によって毎年異なる比率でブレンドされます。 深みのあるガーネット色。グラスに注ぐとカシスやブラックベリーなどの果実のアロマに、赤バラの花びらやスミレなどのフローラルなニュアンス。シルキーなタンニンが滑らかな口当たりを凝縮感のある果実味と共に演出。凛とした酸味がワインの印象を引き締め、長い余韻へと続きます。シャネルの美意識が表現された、数値化できない美しさと強さを兼ね備えています。貴婦人のようなフェミニンさと気品の中に秘められている芯の強さが魅力です。 CHATEAU RAUZAN SEGLA シャトー・ローザン・セグラ 生産地：フランス ボルドー マルゴー 原産地呼称：AOC. Picked from September 12 to October 9 and matured in 60% new oak, it has a gorgeous, seductive bouquet of pure blackberry, bilberry, crushed iris petals and just a hint of licorice. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and good cohesion and depth. The oak is seamlessly integrated on the finish, which lingers like a temptress. Two samples tasted, the second demonstrating a little more salinity on the aftertaste.
